| NASHVILLE, TN – Adtec Digital introduces its new television over IP solutions at Government Technology Exhibition Canada, Oct. 18-20 at the Ottawa Congress Center and Westin Hotel. Adtec introduces its DTA-3050 Digital Turn Around Media Router with 10 DVB-ASI inputs and DTA-3150 Digital Turn Around Media Router with integrated DVB-S and DVB-T tuners. "The DTA-3050 and DTA-3150 are designed specifically for the direct-to-home (DTH) and enterprise IP television applications," Sales Engineer, Michael Bush, said. "Both are equipped with Gigabit Ethernet and optional Conditional Access, and are ideal for aggregating MPEG 2 transport streams and IP data services for delivery to an unlimited number of viewers equipped with low-cost IP set tops." The DTA-3050 includes 10 ASI inputs. The DTA-3150, designed for the international market, includes two QPSK receivers, two COFDM receivers and two ASI inputs. Adtec has also designed the DTA-3250 for use in the United States, featuring two 8VSB receivers for processing ATSC signals and offering optional SMPTE 310M inputs and outputs. All DTA models offer ASI output as an available option. "The DTAs can interface with middleware management solutions and is an integral part for any IP headend deployment for cable, satellite, corporate and hospitality markets," Sales Engineer, Michael Bush, said. Adtec has developed and is displaying its own EPG Server enterprise middleware solution for managing Amino IP set tops using the Adtec digital headend. The EPG Server facilitates interactive program guides or web pages to be delivered along with programming through a multicast enabled switched network. Adtec is also displaying its edje-L MPEG Appliance with integrated QPSK receiver. The edje-L enables secure IP delivery of programs and schedules for store-forward playback to an unlimited number of remote sites. Also displayed in Adtec's booth is the edje-2100 Real Time DTV encoder, ideal for satellite, cable, terrestrial and IP distribution systems supporting high quality MPEG 2 video and Dolby AC-3 audio.
