| NASHVILLE, TN - The staff at Adtec Digital will be providing on site demonstrations of their significantly enhanced IPTV middleware solutions for IPTV, Cable, Satellite and Terrestrial distribution at the IBC2007 exhibition September 7-11. "Adtec's middleware, digital turn around (DTA) and real time MPEG 2 and AVC encoding combine to provide a compelling, robust and value oriented digital television solution for all operators globally” said Kevin Ancelin, President Adtec Digital. IPTVManage is a robust, scalable and reliable solution for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) deployments. It now boasts a companion service, DTVGuide. DTVGuide provides full program guide building for IPTV, DVB-SI and ATSC tables when used with Adtec’s DTA multiplexer and scrambler. IPTVManage features a browser based control and management application which provides broadcasters set top database management as well as package, channel and video on demand streaming and provisioning. Part of Adtec’s total headend solution, the DTA provides an AES scrambler for IPTV conditional access using Verimatrix’s industry leading VCAS SMS. The DTA also includes support for most DVB-CSA SMS solutions. Its encryption and high performance SPTS and MPTS GIGE IPTV routing make the DTA ideal as the hub of almost all digital television headends. SPTS services are targeted to IPTV while MPTS enable dense digital Cable, Satellite or Terrestrial digital television. DTVGuide is a subscription service to Adtec’s remote hosted Electronic Program Guide database, and provides detailed global support for television programming. DTVGuide is ideal for operators who do not wish to aggregate programming data used to enable a full guide including 14 days worth of program data. It also allows for manual program guide building remotely via the web. IPTV, Cable, Satellite and Broadcasters will greatly benefit from the capabilities of DTVGuide, and utilize it to enable a complete set top program guide. Additional features of iptvManage include viewer scalability; thin client JavaScript enabled IPTV set top support, PC and MAC decoding for IE, Firefox and Safari browsers. Options for a billing interface, caller ID and emergency alert requirements are also available. IPTVManage runs on Adtec Digital's Middleware Application Server (MAS).
