Edje 4111-HD Video Players in Nashville Condominiums |
NASHVILLE,TN -- Adtec Digital and Biltmore Communications teamed up to provide the residents at Encore Condominiums with high definition video in the main lobby, elevator lobby and in an art exhibit in the facility. Biltmore installed five Edje 4111s in the condominiums. Three are located in the main lobby and are connected to three 42-inch plasma displays while the other two are located in the elevator lobby. All five units play video content that show digital artwork provided by local art distributors. Encore Condominiums feedback has been "very positive," according to Russell Ludwig, Senior Project Manager at Biltmore Communications. Russell has been employed at Biltmore for five years. He has since used Adtec units in a number of projects involving condominium displays. One of these projects is in the Skypoint high-rise in south Tampa. Another project is in the Viewpoint condominiums in Atlanta, which is Biltmore’s latest project that involves Adtec equipment. Flexibility was the reason Adtec met and exceeded Biltmore’s expectations. "Anytime [the clients] want to change the content, we can remotely log in and change it," Russell stated. The edje 4111-HD is a digital media player for AVC/H.264 and MPEG 2 high definition and standard definition file playback and IP stream decoding. Whatever your source, the edje 4111 HD can automatically scale the content to match your output target up to 1080i60 for outstanding HD playback. The media can easily be loaded, managed and scheduled for playout using the included mediaControl software. With the edje 4111 HD, you get unattended playout of high definition video.
