Automated Digital Display Systems Uses Adtec Digital
Mirage Units to Provide Georgia Department
of Natural Resources with Video Solution

NASHVILLE,TN -- Automated Digital Display Systems LLC has selected Adtec Mirage Digital Video Players for use in Georgia state parks to provide communication between guest lodges, personnel and the guests that stay at the lodges. The Mirage units are in conjunction with the Aavelin Digital Signage & Video Messaging System, manufactured by Magic Box, Incorporated.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources provided Automated Digital Display Systems with 12 ˝ hours of movies and unique video content that had been produced over the last 28 years for use in the park lodges. The content was loaded on to the Mirage players along with a broadcast schedule that allows the Mirage to automatically repeat the 12 ˝ hours of video content so as to fill out a 24 hour broadcast period. After all the Mirage units had been loaded with content and a valid broadcast schedule, the units were deployed to the various lodge locations. The lodges vary in size. Some have 60 or more rooms, cabins, and camp sites. Since the initial installation of the Mirage units in the lodges, Adtec’s Symphony scheduler software application has been used to facilitate the distribution of content and schedule changes.
Glenn Martin, owner of Automated Digital Display Systems LLC, stated what prompted his purchase in one word: 'reliability.' "We had only one problem in the last five years; lightning came in though the outside cable system feed," says Glenn. Glenn is no stranger to Adtec equipment. His latest project used Adtec’s HD DisplayMate equipment for a 16’x 9’ projection at the Dahlonega Gold Museum in North Georgia.
Automated Digital Display Systems LLC designs and installs high-end theatre systems for government, parks and museums. The company contracts everywhere: from Alaska to California, from swamps to presidential libraries.
