Adtec Digital Announces displayMate, Perfect Solution for HD Plasma and LCD Digital Signage Applications
NASHVILLE, TN -Adtec Digital introduces the perfect solution for HD plasma and LCD digital signage or kiosk applications at InfoComm, June 19-21, in Anaheim, CA.
      The displayMate features AVC/H.264 and MPEG 2 high definition and standard definition file playback from 4 GB or 8 GB solid-state storage and IP stream decoding, all in a compact size, making it easy to conceal on a plasma or LCD, in the optional displayEvelope mount.
      “Applications for the 1.3” thick displayMate include retail, trade shows, museums, and private IP networks,” VP of Sales & Marketing, Ron Johnson, said. “Impress customers with HD retail digital signage and point-of-purchase advertising on plasma and LCD monitors.       Whatever your source, the displayMate automatically scales the content with advanced scalar algorithms to match your monitor up to 1080i for outstanding HD playback.
      “The media can be easily loaded, managed and scheduled for playout using the included mediaControl software,” Johnson said. “In addition, the displayMate includes a built-in command interface and scheduler that can play a list of files and loop indefinitely.”
      The included mediaControl application lets you manage your media and schedules on the player while controlling the playout. With the abilty to view log files and real-time playout data, day-to-day operations and troublshooting are streamlined with mediaControl.
