Adtec Equipment Showcases Artbeats Footage Library at NAB 2005

NASHVILLE, TN -Adtec Digital’s edje-1013 digital video players and Soloist 2 Broadcast MPEG players are powering the video for the fifth year at Artbeats booth, SL1219 at NAB, April 18-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Adtec’s edje-1013 decoders are delivering content for Artbeats 60-screen video wall and Adtec’s Soloist 2 players with dual 80GB hard drives are running Artbeats clip browsing stations.

“We chose Adtec’s edje players because of the small format, the modular single channel design and the ability to provide frame-accurate, synchronous video on HD plasma monitors,” Artbeats Marketing/Advertising Principal, Julie Hill , said.  “Adtec’s Soloist 2 players will take commands from external controllers like Crestron or AMX and are incredibly fast when issued the command to playback our video clips.”

Artbeats 60-foot video wall showcases thousands of Artbeats footage clips on 60 monitors in a unique curved fashion.

“Our huge video wall is always a spectacular sight and draws crowds of people, including other exhibitors,” Hill said.  “Thousands of Artbeats clips are featured in the magnificent display, powered by Adtec’s edje-1013 digital video players.”

Artbeats footage browsing stations allow visitors to search the Artbeats comprehensive stock footage library by category or product title as well as keywords.

“In past NAB shows, our footage browsing stations was a popular attraction,” Hill said.  “All of our stations are typically occupied nearly every minute with attendees looking to search our library and view the clips at full resolution.”
