| NASHVILLE, TN - Adtec Digital's edje-1013 digital video players are broadcasting synchronous, visually-appealing content to club hoppers at the South Beach nightclub, Mynt Lounge.
"We have a special installation of ten projectors at the nightclub, and on the two longest walls, we have four wide projector blends, creating a 16x3 format video wall, on either side of the club," Midtown Video's Jesse Miller said. "Because we are using MPEG video clips to feed the projectors, we needed servers that would be intelligent enough to sync-up when playing an image to be spread across all four screens at once." Adtec's edje-1013 is designed for integration into global multimedia networks, and facilitates dynamic MPEG and bitmap audiovisual presentations, without the use of a personal computer. "In addition to miniature size, embedded technology, its multitude of presentation features, the edje-1013 offers reliability and performance that far exceeds PC solutions," Adtec Sales Engineer, Mike Armstrong, said. Content featured on the edje-1013s include colorful swirls, underwater scenes, flashing lights, police sirens and dancers. "One of the handiest features of the edje-1013s are their ability to feed the video content to a single Adtec server, and the server distributes the content to the five other players in the rack," Miller said. "I am extremely pleased with the devices, and their level of programmability and ease of communication with our other devices make Adtec's edje-1013s wonderful to work with.
