Adtec's Digital Media Players Attract Prospective SHSU Students with HD Multi-Screen Video Presentation

NASHVILLE, TN - Adtec Digital's High Definition Digital Media Players are broadcasting an informative, multi-screen video presentation at Sam Houston State University's new Visitor Center, in hopes of attracting prospective students.
"Adtec's Soloist-HD and edje-HD power six separate streams of graphics and synchronous HD footage, all on large projection screens and surrounding plasma screens," Channel Three Productions President, Brad Ruekberg, said. Channel Three and MotionZoneHD, an HD stock footage clearinghouse) co-produced the project.
The eleven minute piece, titled "Where Education is Up Close and Personal," contains all the information a prospective college student would want to know about the University, and was recently selected as a Telly Award Winner in the Recruiting category.
"Along with multi-layered screen images, the presentation includes snappy soundbites from students and faculty, panoramic crane shots, cool time-lapse FX, and fun, animated bumpers," Ruekberg said.
Adtec's Soloist-HD and edje-HD players boast MPEG 4 H.264, and MPEG 2 high definition and standard definition media playback, with the capability to automatically scale the content to match the output target for outstanding HD playback, regardless of the source.
"Media can easily be loaded, managed and scheduled for playout, utilizing the included mediaControl software with command interface and scheduler to play a list of files and loop indefinitely," Adtec Western Regional Sales Manager, Bob Derryberry, said. "In addition, the players are able to tune into IPTV networks, decoding IP Multicast HD content with fall-back playout of stored content."
Both devices feature multi-channel Dolby Digital AC-3 audio for crystal clear sound.
"The players deliver high-quality HD playback in an attractive package, costing significantly less than competitor products, without sacrificing high-quality video," Adtec VP of Sales and Marketing, Ron Johnson, said.
The Grand Opening of the new Visitor Center HD presentation is set for April 27 at 4 p.m. For more information, visit Channel Three Productions at www.channel3.com, MotionZoneHD at www.motionzonehd.com, and Sam Houston State University at www.shsu.edu.
