Adtec Digital To Showcase Broadcast Encoders at IBC 2009

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS — Adtec Digital will showcase its expanded line of broadcast encoders at IBC 2009 in Stand 1.D01.
      Adtec will introduce the HDMI2QAM, a dual-channel high and standard definition MPEG 2 professional distribution encoder for cable television networks. The HDMI2QAM automatically detects two channels of video and audio via HDMI 1.3, encodes and multiplexes the signal into a multiple program transport stream with either DVB or ATSC table compliance.
      Adtec will also showcase its award-winning mediaHUB™-HD 422 multi-format multi-codec contribution encoder. With the ability to encode any combination of HD or SD, MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 AVC with 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 color space, the mediaHUB™-HD 422 supports past, present and future requirements. The mediaHUB™-HD 422 won the TV Technology STAR Award for Superior Technology at NAB 2009.
      Other products featured will include the Soloist™-HD Pro high definition MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 AVC broadcast decoder, the DTA3050 ASI multiplexer and the edje® 5110-RM standard definition MPEG 2 broadcast encoder. The company's digital ad-insertion solutions and high definition digital signage solutions will also be displayed.
      Adtec Digital will host a press conference at IBC 2009 on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. in Stand 1.D01.
