Adtec Digital President Kevin Ancelin to Speak at Institut fur Rundfunktechnik

MUNICH, GERMANY -- Adtec Digital President Kevin Ancelin will speak at a technical colloquium at the Institut fur Rundfunktechnik in Munich, Germany on 21 September, 2009.
      Ancelin's topic is how to achieve long-term security of investment in broadcast equipment with multi-format and multi-codec technology. This issue is of interest to broadcasters who must finance today's equipment purchases with an eye towards tomorrow's technological changes.
      Regardless of what future standards are required - SD or HD, MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 AVC, 4:2:0 or 4:2:2, ASI or IP - the versatility offered by multi-format, multi-codec technology allows broadcasters to adapt one box to meet all their requirements.
      The event will begin at 15:30 hours in the Auditorium at the Institut fur Rundfunktechnik, Haus 17 B, Floriansmühlstraße 60, 80939 München (Fernsehgelände BR).
      Ancelin will give his remarks in English, and the topic will be introduced in German by Hansgeorg Lichte, Director of Adtec BV in Germany.
