IMAKE Integrates with Adtec Digital DPI-1200 Ad Server to Expand OpenVision Ad Exchange
|
NASHVILLE, TN - IMAKE Software and Services, Inc. has integrated with Adtec Digital's DPI-1200 Ad Server to support linear broadcast TV ad insertion using their on-demand advertising system OpenVision Ad Exchange. By adding the DPI-1200 and ad splicing technologies, IMAKE has created a centralized, easy to use way to manage, target, and execute ad campaigns across multiple linear and on-demand networks. Service providers can simplify their operations and maximize their revenue by deploying a single targeted advertising solution for linear and on-demand content within the Cable, IPTV or Satellite markets. Advertisers and ad agencies can target and reach their audiences with higher precision and near real-time feedback.

It is designed to concurrently insert up to twelve MPEG2 or AVC programs into a digital cable or television service. The DPI-1200 imports programs to its core, processes and multiplexes them in preparation for their delivery via ASI output to a single or multiple ad splicers.
IMAKE's OpenVision Ad Exchange utilizes open standards from SCTE to seamlessly integrate with existing linear ad insertion equipment, asset management solutions, and subscriber profiling solutions. The new ad management capabilities manage and track advertisements and sponsorships being watched by any subscriber base across all content types and networks being viewed. A key feature is the ability to centrally target one ad to multiple distribution platforms including download, VOD (where ads are inserted at the time of program request by an audience - in real-time), and now linear broadcast TV. Managing multiple campaigns targeted to different networks with one ad campaign management system drives more effective campaigns for the advertiser.
