Adtec Digital Introduces Edje® 5110-RM Standard Definition MPEG2 Encoder

NASHVILLE, TN -- Adtec Digital is introducing the edje® 5110-RM standard definition MPEG 2 encoder. The edje® 5110-RM is a broadcast quality encoder for contribution and distribution applications.
The edje® 5110-RM boasts high performance standard definition MPEG 2 MP@ML to 15 Mbps, and optional 422P@ML to 50 Mbps. It includes two pairs of SDI, AES and analog audio, Dolby Digital and MPEG 1 layer 2 encoding with Dolby E/5.1 passthrough, a web browser and optional BISS encryption.
The edje® 5110-RM replaces the popular edje® 2000 and edje® 2100 encoders.
Adtec Digital will be exhibiting in booth SL-8220 at NAB 2009. The morning of Tuesday, April 21st at 9:30 a.m., a press conference will be held in the booth.
