RESETFIFOPTRS

Description:

  Force the command channel to the encoder to reset (for testing purposes).

Form:

  Command Handler: ECMD
  RESETFIFOPTRS
  Argument List:     None.

Response:

  RESETFIFOPTRS RESPONSE
    Verbose- "OK\r\n" to acknowledge receipt of command, or
             "ERROR- [Description]\r\n" if error, ending command
    Terse-   "0\r\n" to acknowledge receipt of command, or
             "[NON-ZERO NUMERIC VALUE]\r\n" if error, ending command
    "\r\n" concludes modify responses (empty line)

Examples:

  Verbose command to retrieve current setting:
  *.ECMD RESETFIFOPTRS <enter>
     Response is: OK\r\n

Notes:

  This will cause some commands to be lost and the encoder may be unresponsive
  for several minutes. This should only be used for testing.
