Adtec Digital and Ford Audio-Video bring IPTV to Sherman ISD
Adtec Digital, along with Ford Audio-Video in Dallas, recently installed a 16 channel IPTV system with VOD into the Sherman Independent School District in Sherman, Texas.
The staff at Sherman ISD wanted to replace their traditional cable system with IP video distribution, as well as integrate IPTV into new classrooms which are currently being built for their 6,500 students and staff. Each new building is set to accommodate only IP technology - there is to be no coax or phone wiring at all. A total of 13 campuses at the Sherman School District will have access to video content over IP when the building projects are complete.
